My goal for the year is to participate in more calls for entry into juried exhibits. I began the year with an entry into Kawartha Art Gallery's Radical Feathers exhibit. This show emphasized avian beauty, diversity, and conservation. My painting of a muscovy duck (above) is entitled 'A Symbol of All Good Things' and was accepted into the show. If you have followed my work in the past, you know that I am a huge fan of birds. The photo reference for this piece was taken in Florida near Fort Myers.
